DUROS CARES Brings Hope to Typhoon Tino Survivors

In the aftermath of Typhoon Tino’s devastating impact, DUROS CARES, the humanitarian arm of DUROS Group, mobilized a comprehensive relief operation to bring aid and hope to affected communities in Liloan, Cebu.

In partnership with RFB Foundation, Duros Land Properties Incorporated, and other companies under the DUROS Group umbrella, the relief mission reached five severely impacted barangays: Cabadiangan Sitio Tuhob, Lataban, San Roque, Tilhaong Sta. Cruz, and Tiltilon. The operation aimed to provide immediate assistance to families who lost their homes and livelihoods, delivering essential supplies including food packs, water, and basic necessities to help them begin the difficult journey toward recovery.

A Community United

The success of the relief operation was made possible by the tireless dedication of volunteers who embodied the true spirit of bayanihan. From sunrise to sunset, since November 5, these unsung heroes worked hand-in-hand, sorting relief goods, navigating muddy roads, and ensuring that aid reached even the most remote sitios. Their selfless compassion brought not just supplies, but hope and solidarity to families in their darkest hours.

“We are deeply grateful to every volunteer who answered the call,” said a DUROS CARES representative. “Your hands carried more than relief packsโ€”they carried the message that no one faces disaster alone.”

A Promise for Tomorrow

The November 12 relief operation was just one of DUROS CARES’ ongoing initiatives demonstrating its commitment to Liloan’s typhoon survivors. The organization pledges to stand with these communities throughout the long road to recovery, demonstrating that disaster response is not a single act, but a sustained partnership with those in need.

As cleanup continues and families start rebuilding, DUROS CARES reaffirms its mission: to be ready, responsive, and resolute in serving communities when they need it most. Through compassion and collective action, hope rises even from the storm’s devastation.
