Duros Land’s Mardi Gras Annual Awards Night 2025
Duros Land Properties Inc. celebrated excellence and unveiled aspirations during its much-anticipated Mardi Gras Annual Awards 2025, held on January 24 at the Woodlands Event Pavilion Place in Liloan, Cebu. Themed “A Night of Awards & Dances,” the event was a vibrant evening that recognized top-performing brokers and sellers, while also highlighting company’s vision through the unveiling of the highly anticipated Resort Residences Series.
A Night of Recognition and Celebration
The highlight of the evening was the awarding of top sellers who have made exceptional contributions to DurosLand’s success. Topping the list was Minerva M. Dorado of QuikMov Realty, whose sales exceeded its target last 2024. For her achievement, she was awarded a brand-new car, handed personally by Duros Land Chairman Rafaelito Barino.
Mr. Barino encouraged new sellers not to lose heart. “Don’t be discouraged if you’re just starting out. Real estate doesn’t require a degree but heart, faith, and determination. Anybody can sell. As long as they ask God for grace, clients will come,” he shared, inspiring the audience.
Unveiling A New Vision in the Resort Residences Series
In a significant milestone for Duros Land, the company launched its newest development, the Resort Residences Series. This ambitious project redefines modern living by combining the comforts of home with the luxury of resort amenities.
“2025 is a Jubilee Year, a year of hope,” Duros Land President Fe Barino said. “This is a year for new beginnings, for making dreams come true, and for embracing the opportunities that lie ahead. Hope does not disappoint.”
Faith, Family, and Legacy
Throughout the evening, the importance of faith and family resonated in the speeches of Mr. and Ms. Barino. Both emphasized their gratitude to God for the blessings that have sustained the Duros Group of Companies since its founding in 1987.
“Our business is a noble vocation,” Ms. Barino reflected. “We don’t just sell properties. We fulfill hopes and dreams. We are helping families find their place in the world, and that is a blessing.”
The couple also highlighted their commitment to legacy and sustainability through a succession plan involving the next generation of leaders within their family. “The future of Duros Land is secure,” Ms. Barino assured. “We have a family constitution and a plan in place, so this company will continue to thrive for many generations.”
Looking Ahead
As the evening concluded with applause and renewed energy, Mr. Barino shared an exciting glimpse of future projects. Developments in The Mentigi Point, Bantayan, and Moalboal are on the horizon, promising even more opportunities for brokers and buyers alike.
“Let’s work together as one family,” Mr. Barino urged. “With God’s grace, there is more than enough opportunity for everyone to achieve success.”
